THE PROFESSIONAL GRAND SLAM!
The Professional Grand Slam is a new tour for competitors in the 4 Styles,
American Smooth, American Rhythm, International Ballroom and International Latin.
The concept for The Professional Grand Slam is an easy one. Professional finalists who participate at The Professional Grand Slam Events receive points for their placements.
The points are as follows:
1st Place 8 points
2nd Place 7 points
3rd Place 6 points
4th Place 5 points
5th Place 4 Points
6th Place 3 Points
The points accumulated during the tour determine the Overall Winner of their respective division. The Top Point Earner in each style will then compete in The Professional Grand Slam Finale for a large cash purse at the 2023 Ohio Star Ball.
The participating competitions for point accumulation for The Professional Grand Slam Tour are:
The Emerald Ball Dance Championships
The Millennium Dancesport Championships
The Manhattan Dance Championships
The Embassy Ball Dance Championships
The Professional Grand Slam Invitational Finale will be held at The Ohio Star Ball.
The rules for The Professional Grand Slam are as follows;
