The holidays are just around the corner and it's time again to think about ordering your wreaths for your home. For the 7th year in a row, Healing Harvest will be making their holiday wreaths to benefit the activities and sites for its program.

This weekend Hannah and I volunteered our time by making Healing Harvest Wreaths with Maggie and George. It was a beautiful Saturday spent cutting fresh aromatic greenery and socializing with good people. The wreaths are a mixture of Noble Fir, Cedar, and Juniper, all collected locally.
It would be wonderful if you'd like to order a wreath from Healing Harvest! Wreaths make great gifts for friends and family! Please submit your order by 12/17.

HEALING HARVEST HOLIDAY WREATHS
The holidays are just around the corner and it's time again to think about ordering your wreaths for your home. For the 7th year in a row, Healing Harvest will be making their holiday wreaths to benefit the activities and sites for its program. The Kennedy School of Sustainability in Cottage Grove and its creation of the Sustainable Horticulture & Agriculture Certification Program will be the focus for the 2011-2012 school year. Proceeds from this sale will also be used for the continued expansion of Learning Garden and Greenhouse operations at the school, which will include further development of the garden to create an educational demonstration and test garden to be used by the school and other schools in the district, as well as an area for students, families, staff, and guests to enjoy year round. Additional dollars will also be allocated for supplies for the greenhouse that will be used to produce starts for the garden and other programs in the community. The expanded areas of the garden will be used to grow produce that will be used for various curricular and community projects at Kennedy, feeding students, their families, and help the local food bank.
Your support is greatly appreciated and will enable us to continue these efforts to teach the youth of our community agrarian values and sustainable practices for a healthy future! Thank you!
