Saturday Night Spectacular Announced
The Chicago Harvest Moon Ball DanceSport Championships turns 50 this year! As the oldest running Ballroom dance competition in the United States, Harvest Moon ball officially began in 1935 at Madison Square Garden in New York. Later in the 1940's, Chicago was added as a competition location. In 1963, the competition evolved into its current format. Through the years, this illustrious competition has helped shape the ballroom dance world into what it is today.
We are very proud that so many of the great champions in the ballroom world were among our past competitors and performers. To help us celebrate our 50th Anniversary, several of our past alumni will honor us by performing at the Saturday Night Spectacular "A Tribute to the Legends" featuring:
Alain Doucet & Anik Jolicoeur, Tony Mereduth & Melanie LaPatin, Giacomo Steccaglia & Melissa Dexter, Ron Montez, Aleksandra Gisher, Vito Bertucci
Please join us for this once in a lifetime 50th Anniversary celebration. Be sure to get your tickets soon. This event will be sold out!
