A short story about the roles dance plays in everyones lives.
New Years Eve 2014 was coming fast and my plan to ask my long term girlfriend for her hand in marriage was underway. We would be attending the gala where the Boston Pops Swing Orchestra would be playing all night long. Everything was set up and ready. The only other thing I needed was some swing dance lessons. During a week long stay in Newport I decided to contact local dance instructors in an effort to make this night perfect. Sue taught me some swing steps in that week and I was able to dance my way right through the best word I ever heard.....SHE SAID "YES!"
