Former Ballroom Champions "Susan Silva & David Van Hamilton" teach all styles of ballroom dance from beginners to professionals. Learn the Latin Dances: Salsa, Mambo, Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Swing, Paso Doble, Hustle.
Smooth Dances: Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, V.Waltz, Quickstep, also teaching Argentine Tango. Be able to dance at clubs, parties, weddings. We also teach children and youth. We train dancers for competitions. Choreography is a specialty. We have coached many dance teams, amateur, pro-am, and professional in all styles of ballroom dance.
We teach in various locations,and are also available to instruct in your own home. Prices are affordable and vary according to the amount of lessons taken.
Teaching in New London County, Hartford County and Middlesex County. Will also travel outside of the state as dance consultants, coaching,& judging. Fees arranged.

Resume: Hamilton & Silva were former Theatrical and Exhibition Champions, American Style Rhythm and Smooth Champions, and an Adagio Team in New York City and across the USA. Susan was also a Broadway dancer,toured with the Beatles in the mid 60's as part of the "The Discoteque Dancers". Hamilton & Silva wrote and filmed a theatrical ballroom syllabus for a major ballroom chain. Susan also does choreography for the performing arts: stage, television, film, and ballet/jazz schools.
Susan Silva is a Certified Championship National Judge, in all styles of ballroom dance, and performing arts. She is a member of the National Dance Council of America. She also has a masters certificate to teach in all styles of ballroom dancing from both the NADTA, and NDTA ballroom organizations, and is a dance consultant for Arthur Murray Intl.
