Welcome to Arthur Murray of Portland! We also have locations in Beaverton, OR and Vancouver, WA.
Over 40 million people have enhanced there social life by learning to dance quickly and easily, the Arthur Murray way. For over a century the Arthur Murray method of Private lessons, Group classes and Dance parties has helped people from all walks of life become confident on the dance floor.
We specialize in American Smooth dances such as Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, and Viennese Waltz as well as Latin dances such as Rumba, Cha Cha, East and West Coast Swing, Bolero and, of course, Wedding Choreography. We teach beginner through advanced levels, in addition to training for competitions.
We welcome you to sign up for an introductory Program -- then, depending on your preference and needs, we'll develop an Arthur Murray program just right for you. Through the proven Arthur Murray method of teaching dance, you'll have the opportunity to perfect your skills with our highly trained instructors.
**Private Lessons** your personal instructor will be selected to best match your goals. Whether you're single or learning to dance as a couple, you'll get started in the basics fast. You can learn several dances or focus on one particular dance. We encourage you to learn multiple dances so that you can inter-relate similar steps in several dances and increase your versatility. Imagine not having to sit out another dance! Remember: You always progress at your own pace and comfort level...with lessons that accommodate your busy schedule.
We offer weekly Group Classes to reinforce your private lessons. You will join other students at the same learning stage and continue to develop what you have learned in your private lessons. You'll get to know other students and teachers in our studio and benefit from their diverse experience. Group Classes are a lot of fun and we encourage you to join us!
